November is a meaningful month for me. It marks my birthday, Veteran’s Day, and the start of the holiday season. This time of year, inspires a profound sense of gratitude—grateful for another year of life, for my husband’s 30 years of military service, and for all veterans and active-duty personnel who protect our nation. Thanksgiving weekend provides a special chance to come together with my family and chosen family, whose love and support I deeply appreciate.
